2025
The work began with a series of printed photographs of water, these images evoked a sense of calm and served as a visual anchor during a period of personal uncertainty with a loved one in fragile health.
Seeking transformation, I returned the prints to their elemental source, submerging them in water and allowing time, chance and natural forces to reshape their surfaces. The once crisp images stained, eroded, and reformed creating new and unpredictable configurations.
The resulting works document the inevitability of change and the quiet endurance found within it. Through the image transformation I embrace impermanence not as loss but as a natural state of becoming - a gesture of resilience and acceptance.
