IN THE CARE OF LIGHT
2025/26

This series of ten digital diptychs emerged from encounters in nature shaped by quiet observation of change.

I am drawn to liminal spaces- thresholds where the human and natural worlds meet, where stillness and light hold the possibility of transformation. This work reflects my own experience of approaching a precipice, where uncertainty becomes something felt rather than feared. By digitally pairing images of found objects, the human form, and fleeting moments of light, I explore how life takes form, erodes, and reconfigures itself.

Light moves through each image as a shared condition, revealing what is easily overlooked and connecting what might otherwise seem separate. Rather than treating nature as backdrop, the work situates the human as entangled within living, evolving systems, where transformation unfolds quietly and continuously, just beyond the reach of perception.
